Meteor showers. Auroras. Heat shimmer. Lens flare. Refraction. Ionization. Schumann resonance. Static. For fifty years, the official record has used a different word every time the sky did something it wasn't supposed to.

For most of my research career, I accepted that. Each explanation was tidy. Each one was publicly documented. Each one was offered up by a different agency or scientific body whenever something happened above us that didn't quite fit the official model of empty space.

And then one night I stacked them all up next to each other.

That's when I realized they were all explaining the same thing.

In this post I want to walk you through what I found about the dome theory and the sealed sky hypothesis. We're going to look at the 16Hz resonance frequency measured inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, the seven restricted geographic sites that match the dome theory's predictions, the medieval celestial chronicles that point to recurring atmospheric phenomena mainstream science cannot fully explain, and the consumer-grade instrumentation you can use to verify the architecture from your own backyard tonight.

Why Does the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid Resonate at 16 Hertz?

This part isn't theory. This part is measured, and once you see the numbers, you can't unsee them.

The King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza resonates at 16.2 hertz. The resonance is created by a standing wave that fits the chamber's dimensions of approximately 10.47 meters in length, and it sits at exactly twice the local Schumann frequency at Giza's latitude (8.1 Hz). When I went looking for who'd documented this, I found a small group of independent investigators who'd each confirmed it separately. The engineer Christopher Dunn measured it for his 1998 book The Giza Power Plant. Researcher Andrew Collins ran his own measurements in 2019 and published the spectrograms. Acoustic engineers writing for ProSoundWeb describe the pyramid's air shafts as functioning like a Coke bottle being blown across, generating "an infrasound harmonic vibration in the chamber at precisely 16 Hz."

Egyptologists call this an acoustic curiosity.

Here's the part where it stops being curious.

The chamber is built from Aswan granite. Aswan granite contains a very high concentration of quartz crystal. Quartz, when subjected to mechanical pressure, generates a measurable electrical charge. This is the piezoelectric effect, and it's the same principle that runs every quartz watch on the planet.

So what we have, sitting in the desert outside Cairo, is this: a piezoelectrically active resonant cavity, locked to twice the Earth's electromagnetic heartbeat, built inside the most precisely aligned ancient structure on Earth, and the official explanation is that it was a tomb.

The Pharaoh whose tomb it allegedly is was never found inside it.

That part's also documented.

What Do the Pyramid Alignments Actually Prove?

Once I started pulling on the alignment thread, I couldn't stop.

The Great Pyramid is aligned to true north with an accuracy of roughly three arc minutes. To put that in perspective, that's more precise than the alignment of the Greenwich Observatory, which was built four thousand years later with telescopes and theodolites we know existed.

In 2017, the ScanPyramids project published in Nature, used cosmic-ray muon tomography (a non-invasive scanning technique) and discovered a 30-meter-long void above the Grand Gallery that nobody knew was there. Their official statement called it "the first major inner structure found in the Great Pyramid since the nineteenth century." Then in 2023, a follow-up paper in Nature Communications confirmed a second hidden corridor behind the North Face Chevron. Two thousand years of Egyptology, and we just found rooms inside the Great Pyramid we didn't know existed. Let that sit for a second.

Stonehenge is aligned to the summer solstice sunrise and the winter solstice sunset to a precision that requires astronomical surveying capability the attributed builders aren't credited with possessing.

The Nazca Lines in Peru are geometric figures rendered at scales only fully visible from the air, made by a culture with no acknowledged means of aerial perspective.

I want to be fair here. Each of these sites, taken individually, has a defensible mainstream explanation. Patient empirical observation. Iterative refinement across generations. Religious devotion to celestial reference points.

But here's what bothered me when I put them side by side. The same category of precision alignment, locked to the same astronomical and geographic reference points, appears independently across continents whose attributed builders had no documented contact with each other. The probability of independent convergence on the same precision references, at the same scale, using the same astronomical anchors, across populations separated by oceans, is small enough that I started asking a different question than the one mainstream archaeology was asking.

What if these sites aren't independent? What if they're nodes in a single shared reference system?

What if the precision isn't coincidence but specification?

What Did Medieval Chroniclers Actually See in the Sky?

This is the section that took me the longest to research, and it's the one that most surprised me.

Medieval monastic chroniclers were obsessive record keepers. They documented eclipses, comets, parhelia (those are multiple suns appearing at once), aurora displays at impossibly low latitudes, and what they called celestial battles. These records exist in the British Library, the Vatican archives, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, and a hundred smaller monastic collections across Europe. Researchers at Durham University have catalogued the consistency of these records across independent observers, which is what initially caught my attention.

You may have heard of the 1561 broadsheet from Nuremberg. Hans Glaser engraved it, and it's held today in the Zentralbibliothek Zürich. It depicts what witnesses described as a celestial battle of spheres, crosses, and cylinders filling the dawn sky. Brewminate's review of medieval celestial reports notes that the 1561 Nuremberg event is one of dozens of documented sky phenomena recorded across centuries with strikingly similar visual signatures.

The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle records "red celestial signs after sunset" that researchers at Kyoto University and the University of Reading have analyzed in peer-reviewed journals as possible evidence of extreme solar events in the 770s CE.

Carolingian-era chronicles describe mysterious fireballs, bloody rain, and cosmic battling armies, with such consistent detail across independent monasteries that historians treat the entries as describing real observed phenomena even when the cause remains disputed.

Mainstream science explains these events as auroras, parhelia, ball lightning, atmospheric optical phenomena, and occasional mass hallucination.

I want to ask you something, though. What if the medieval observers were recording exactly what they said they were recording? Not metaphor. Not allegory. Not mass hallucination. What if they were giving us a literal observation of the sky behaving in ways the sky shouldn't behave, witnessed by hundreds of educated observers, painted onto parchment "that such an unusual phenomenon might not escape from the memory of man," as one chronicler put it?

The framework I've been building across this series names a specific class of event for moments like these. I call it lattice destabilization, when the dome's containment field briefly fails and bleed-through becomes visible to surface observers. Sealed Sky assigns the year 1442 to one such event recorded across multiple independent monastic archives. The chronicles are the evidence. The framework is the lens that makes them legible as a coherent phenomenon rather than a thousand years of unrelated optical illusions.

Where Are the Seven Sites the Dome Theory Identifies?

The dome theory I lay out in Sealed Sky identifies seven structural nodes anchored at specific geographic coordinates around the planet. The framework itself is the book's central thesis. But the locations themselves share a pattern that's verifiable in the public record, and I want to walk you through them so you can see what I saw.

Beneath the Greenland ice shelf at roughly 76.5°N, 68.7°W. The U.S. military's Camp Century was a literal subsurface ice base operated under cover of glacial research from 1959 to 1967. Documents declassified in 1996 revealed it was actually the cover for Project Iceworm, a top-secret program to build a 4,000-kilometer tunnel network housing up to 600 nuclear missiles. Here's the part that almost made me drop my coffee: as History.com reported in 2026, NASA radar accidentally rediscovered the buried complex in 2024 during what was supposed to be a routine ice-sheet survey. The cover was so effective that the public didn't know what was actually buried under Greenland for over thirty years.

Inside the Great Pyramid at Giza. The 16Hz resonance is measured. The piezoelectric quartz is documented. The Egyptian government has restricted access to multiple chambers, including the recently discovered void above the Grand Gallery confirmed by ScanPyramids in 2017.

Mount Cook in New Zealand, where civilian drone overflight is restricted by national park regulation and where instrument readings are classified as seismic noise.

The Tibetan Plateau, where the Chinese PLA maintains military exclusion zones and satellite imagery has documented inconsistencies in publicly available data layers.

The Atacama Desert in Chile, where NASA's SOFIA airborne observatory program conducted regular high-altitude scans before being abruptly terminated in 2022.

The Mariana Trench, where the U.S. Navy's SOSUS underwater hydrophone network, partially declassified in 1991 after 41 years of secrecy, demonstrates that permanent ocean floor sensor arrays at carefully chosen locations have been operational for over half a century. The Naval Submarine League archive documents how the system's true mission was concealed under "oceanographic research" cover stories until the post-Cold War declassification.

The Canadian Rockies, where multiple closed mountain zones overlap with documented but unexplained underground infrastructure, including facilities the Canadian government has acknowledged exist but declined to detail.

I want to be honest with you. The mainstream explanation for each of these locations is real and individually defensible. There's a story for Greenland (Cold War deterrence). There's a story for the SOSUS network (anti-submarine warfare). There's a story for SOFIA (budget cuts). Each one stands up on its own.

What stops standing up is the pattern across all seven. Restricted zones cluster. Classified programs converge. Public maps are edited around specific coordinates. The military presence at any one of these sites is explainable. The military presence at all seven, in a near-perfect geometric distribution across the planet, is the question this whole investigation is built around.

Can You Verify the Dome Theory Yourself?

This is the part I'm most proud of in Sealed Sky, and it's also the part that separates this work from every other book in the field.

You don't have to trust me. You don't have to trust the framework. The instrumentation is consumer grade, the protocols are reproducible, and the readings are either there or they're not. I designed it that way on purpose.

Here's what you'll need.

Take a standard portable AM radio with an analog dial, the kind you can buy for fifteen dollars at any hardware store, and tune it to the static between stations between 2:00 and 4:00 AM local time. Listen for dropouts, those brief moments where the static cuts out or shifts in tone. Now slowly rotate the radio while watching a compass. What you're checking is whether those dropouts cluster at specific compass bearings or distribute randomly. Random would match the mainstream prediction. Clustered would suggest something else.

Add a digital barometer (twenty dollars on Amazon) near an open window during the same hours. You're looking for sudden pressure shifts of 0.7 to 1.7 hectopascals that resolve within minutes. Whether those spikes correlate temporally with your radio dropouts is something you can verify with a stopwatch.

Add diffraction film (under ten dollars) over a flashlight aimed straight up at the sky. The light splits into a rainbow pattern. What you're watching for is thin horizontal banding within that pattern. If it appears at fixed compass bearings independent of how you move, it's not in your eyes. It's in the medium the light is passing through.

Three instruments. Under fifty dollars total. Cross-locked at the same compass bearing on the same night.

If the readings turn out to be noise, you'll find noise. That's a legitimate result. Investigation requires the willingness to find nothing.

If the readings cluster, you've personally observed a phenomenon that the official frameworks don't predict and don't explain.

The book gives you the protocols. Reality gives you the data. I'd love to know what you find. (I've written a full how-to guide for the AM radio test here if you want to start tonight.)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the dome theory actually documented anywhere?

The dome theory framework as I present it in Sealed Sky is my investigative thesis, built on top of a body of independently documented anomalies. The 16Hz Pyramid resonance, the precision alignments of ancient megalithic sites, the medieval celestial chronicles, the declassified ELF research programs, and the restricted geographic zones I identify in the book are all verifiable in mainstream sources, including peer-reviewed publications in Nature and Nature Communications, declassified U.S. military records, and monastic archives held by institutions including the British Library and the Vatican. The framework that connects them into a single architecture is what I'm contributing to the conversation.

  • What is the 16Hz hum in the Great Pyramid?

The King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid resonates at 16.2 hertz, which is exactly twice the Schumann frequency at Giza's latitude (8.1 Hz). The resonance was first systematically documented by Christopher Dunn in 1998 and has been independently confirmed by Andrew Collins in 2019 and other researchers since. The chamber is constructed from piezoelectrically active Aswan granite. Mainstream Egyptology classifies the resonance as an acoustic curiosity. I argue it indicates an operational function the official record doesn't acknowledge.

  • Is the sky really a dome?

The dome theory is a framework, not a proven scientific fact. Sealed Sky presents it as the lens through which a specific cluster of unexplained anomalies becomes coherent. I'm not asking you to accept it on my word. I'm asking you to evaluate the evidence yourself.

  • What is the 1442 event?

I've assigned the year 1442 to a class of medieval celestial phenomenon recorded in multiple independent monastic archives. The historical record contains numerous accounts of dramatic sky events across the medieval period, from the 770s Anglo-Saxon Chronicle entries to the 1561 Nuremberg broadsheet, that I read as observational evidence of recurring containment field instability. The specific 1442 designation is part of my reconstruction.

  • What is the Schumann resonance and why does it matter?

The Schumann resonance is the global electromagnetic standing wave between Earth's surface and the ionosphere, with a fundamental frequency of approximately 7.83 Hz globally and 8.1 Hz at Giza's latitude. It was discovered by Winfried Otto Schumann in 1952. What matters for Sealed Sky is that the King's Chamber resonates at exactly twice that frequency, which suggests deliberate tuning rather than coincidence.

  • Is this real or fiction?

It's investigative speculative nonfiction. The evidence I cite is real and verifiable. The synthesis is mine. I encourage every reader to verify everything, run the protocols, and arrive at their own conclusions.

  • How does Sealed Sky connect to the rest of the Black Vault Series?

Sealed Sky is Book Two of a 20-book investigation. Beyond The Ice Wall (Book 1) maps the perimeter of the containment system. Sealed Sky (Book 2) maps the ceiling. Frequency Cage (Book 3) maps the signal architecture that runs through both. Soul Harvest (Book 4), There Is No God (Book 5), and You Were Never Real (Book 6) extend the investigation into consciousness, religion, and the construction of reality itself. The first six volumes are available now. Fourteen more are in development.

  • Where do I start if I'm new to the series?

Begin with Beyond The Ice Wall. The Black Vault Series is designed to be read in order. Each book builds the framework the next book operates inside.

What Comes Next

Here's where I land on all this.

You've lived your entire life under a sky you were taught was empty space. Mainstream science has spent two hundred years explaining away a list of anomalies that, taken together, should have changed the explanation. The 16Hz hum. The arc-minute alignments. The medieval chronicles. The classified programs that quietly terminate every time they get close to something. The military exclusion zones that cluster at coordinates the official maps want you to ignore.

I'm not asking you to believe me.
I'm asking you to look at the pattern.

And once you've seen the pattern, the question stops being whether the architecture is there. The question becomes what you do with knowing it.

Tonight, the AM radio in your kitchen drawer is an instrument.

Tomorrow night, the maintenance window will arrive on schedule.

The system has counted on your inattention for a long time. I don't think it should count on it anymore.

Sealed Sky, Book Two of the 20-volume Black Vault Series, is available now at seravyna.com. The first six books are out. Fourteen more are in development. The historical evidence is in chapters one through seventeen. The framework is in chapter eighteen. The verification protocols are in chapter nineteen. The deep vault addendum is what no civilian was supposed to see.
